Bristol & Bath

This week I am staying with my friend Harriet and her flat mates in Bristol.
I have only ever been to Bristol a couple of times when I was younger, when I used to go ice skating for my birthday :)

Yesterday her flatmates where kind enough to take me on a little bike ride to an area of Bristol called Clifton. We went to the amazing Suspension Bridge & A great Pub, just down the road, called the 'White Lion'. Good plan for a great travellers day out, and definitely recommend biking whilst in Bristol, good way to see the sites and the roads are really bike friendly.

Today was Harriet's day off! So Harriet, Finn and I, went on a trek of a bike ride from Bristol to Bath. I used THE most colourful bike ever, that Harriet designed herself :) Came across an old Train stop & made friends with a Tin man! When we arrived in Bath we met up with their mates, ate & watched a game of football in a pub, then they gave me a quick tour of the Bath High street! All in all was a great day!

Cycling :)

These Past few days have been a little bit stressful for me, as lots of people have been letting me down and am getting over it :)
Soooo I have been going on some bike rides to clear my head and enjoy the spring. The weather has been amazing as well, so am making the most of it!

Out of the blue

Hello people :)

Hope you all had a lovely day!

The best days are the ones you don't plan & just happen.

The beginning of today I had no plans, the next thing I know most of my friends from olden Glasto days are suddenly all in Glastonbury for the day. Great excuse for a couple of drinks in the SUNNY beloved Blue note Café.

Old School x

Today I spent quite a lot of time applying to work for the BBC! One of my pet peeves however, is when they ask you to upload a CV (that you have spent ages creating). only to find that they want you to write it all out again in separate places!! Honestly!

Afterwards, to get some fresh air, I went for a bike ride out to my old primary school, 'Meare Village Primary'.

Its funny, when I was a kid, I obviously only focused on three things; the school, crossing the road, and the car back home. As when I went out there today, I actually noticed the cute little church, a manor, and a fishing house, all right by my school!

 

Bristol & Cupcakes!

Afternoon!
So my time today consisted of talking to my Boyfriend for 4 hours on Skype for a catch up.(long distance sucks) then walking to my friends house to cry about what is wrong with our lives, then

picking ourselves up buy watching a movie and (her) baking cupcakes! They aren't the best looking ones, but they did taste amazing! (This is life!)

The day before I went to Bristol for the first time (since I was a youngen) which was amazing! We went to a bunch of Op shops (NZ term for Vintage stores) and had my first ever lunch at Nandos! I know I have finally caught up with the times.

Bristol has been occupied since the Stone Age, thus being one of the oldest city's in Britain.
You can see this throughout the City by the amazing architecture intertwined with the modern day buildings.
It was one of the most successful Trading Harbours in Britain around the 15th-18th century and has kept being one of the most thriving manufacturing city's in England.

Bristol is also Famous for its Graffiti Artist - Banksy

Catch ups

Hello everyone!

Have had a lovely couple of days just hanging out with some friends and catching up with my parents mates who I grew up with :)

Sorry for the really rubbish posts for these days, as nothing has really happened that will be of interest to you. And I have not really had time to post. Going around and having to catch up with lots of people you have not seen in around 3 years is very tiring.
